Personal Message from Marc Shulman  

          Our motivation in developing this course comes from many years experience working with support groups, organizations, schooldistricts, government agencies, families, and persons with special needs.

            Today, many persons with special needs are enjoying a normal life expectancy. The result is that they will likely outlive their parents or other primary care givers. As a result, planning is no longer an option, it is a necessity. Families have come to this realization and are now, more than ever, seeking professional assistance. They must resolve their concern about, “Who will care, when they are not there?” Unfortunately, uneducated advisors are providing well intended assistance, which in most cases creates more problems than it resolves. Those who are qualified in all areas of planning are too few and hard to find.

            Our inspiration and passion in this mission comes from the appreciation we receive from the many families we assist and our own experience in personally caring for a loved one with special needs in our immediate families.
